Highland Revolution
On this historic day that President Biden officially recognizes the Armenian Genocide, I present this sonic project, also an expression of evolution thru awareness.
“Highland Revolution” is a double CD of music created entirely by improvisation! What makes this recording more unique is that it was created with master Armenian folk woodwind musician Norik Manoukian (my duduk teacher) who is accompanied by contemporary rock and roll instruments played by Michael Vest, John Volaitis, Nico Borromeo, Hal Cragin and I. This musical collaboration is a sonic journey of courage, beauty and liberation fueled by the light of the heart.
