Shooting with Gregory by far has been one of the most liberating, life-giving, shamanic shoots I’ve done with someone. The clarity is profound, fun, and exciting! As soon as the paint comes on the part of self that is beyond the I becomes embodied. Although I am nude I feel what really is nude is my soul, which is such a fresh breath of air. I’ve done countless photo shoots over the years, but I’ve never been a part of something like the Painted Nude experience. At this point in my life/career, I didn’t imagine I would shoot anything nude again. After seeing Gregory Beylerian’s artwork, I knew we could create something beautiful together. The way he captures the female form and utilizes the body as a canvas is so inspiring!
I had heard about Gregory Beylerian’s art and photo shoot process called the Painted Nude experience, it sounded intriguing and decided to do it. I walked in his studio that day absolutely terrified; I am incredibly uncomfortable in front of a camera and have never posed nude for anyone. I left that day inspired, invigorated, and proud of myself for stepping out of my comfort zone. and as a result, I now have this incredible collection of photographic art to reflect back on and remember why I said yes in the first place.

I did this thing.
I got naked.

I didn’t know what to expect.
I’d never been photographed nude.
Or been a muse.
And so, the soulful, generous, warm-hearted, bigly talented lion coaxed the scorpion out of the sand and she rose to a phoenix with the channeling of the wild, of the eternal, of love, of beauty, of the divine feminine through art, through creation, through a special journey of movement, of color, of music, of camera, of vision, of masculine protection. I felt fully in my body and transcendent at the same time. So alive, so free. So goddess! So me. When the shoot was over, I could have walked out of Gregory’s studio into the street and levitated, flown really, through the city of angels wearing only paint and a smile.

The Painted Nude Experience has been developed and refined over 20 years by award winning artist and photographer Gregory Beylerian who co-creates and shares a Mediterranean inspired studio located in the heart of Los Angeles with his wife, French bespoke fashion artist Judith Bodart Beylerian.

The studio has 25 years of experience in creating museum-quality photographic prints, collectible treasure boxes and framed works of art. Every image is carefully polished thru mastered darkroom techniques and printed using the finest materials. Each work is signed with the artist’s signature and studio stamp of authenticity.
