The Love Seat, A Painted Art Chair

“The Love Seat, A Painted Art Chair” is a  commission project that came about from the opportunity to transform  a chair whose upholstery had withered from too much exposure to the sun. The structure and foam however was in excellent shape, a beautiful chair  constructed from fine materials and displays an elegant presence. The chair was first covered in a white polymer paint that sealed the fabric and allows the chair to be used for sitting, not just viewing due to the flexibility of the innovative material. High quality, durable Acrylic paints were used to maintain  color vibrancy  even  with heavy sitting use.
