The Sunset Drum Circle

The Sunset Drum Circle is an open invitation to the community, friends old and new, and even those just passing by on the beach, to come together. In a time when division, “othering,” and polarization dominate much of society, many people feel anxious, vulnerable, and powerless to create change. The drum circle offers a simple yet powerful alternative: unity through rhythm, presence, and play.

Unlike debates or arguments, the drum circle begins with the inward journey. Through improvisational drumming guided by the heart, we practice realignment within ourselves. By first centering into a state of openness, relaxation, and alert awareness, we tap into the meditative power of rhythm. When our mind, heart, and body synchronize with the beat, we experience the phenomenon of unity, not as an idea, but as a living reality.

Even strangers feel this. Often, passersby are drawn in to join, picking up a drum or shaker. Others, sitting at a distance, find themselves swaying or tapping along. The rhythm connects us before words ever can.

Together, these natural forces support our reset from the week past and prepare us for the week ahead. The Love and Truth Drum Circle adds breathwork and simple alignment practices that deepen the experience, helping us release fear, stress, and negativity.
