Flow Line Exercises

This is a “Flow Line Exercise”.

The practice is as follows: First, the art making process begins with no pre meditated ideas of what to draw. If any come to mind during the process, the technique is to NOT be distracted / directed by the thought. During the process, any opinion or judgmental thoughts that may arise are not to be cherished. Essentially mental narratives can be observed but not acted upon. Instead one is to focus on the subtle feeling / awareness found in being present and be guided by that. This practice is the development of recognizing the difference  and thus experiencing the dynamics of such a “FLOW” state that is from awareness, not the conditioned mind.
The accompanying music is created using the same technique via sonic improvisational flow..
