Power of Stillness | Flow Line Face 06 19 26

Flow Line Faces are active meditation works, a practice cultivated since early adulthood.

It’s about surrendering to the present moment and drawing with trust, without preconceived ideas or judgment of what emerges. The practice deepens living from intuition, letting the artist become a channel for the higher self.

At its core: following the love and wisdom of the heart, not the fear and judgment of the mind. This is the way of Flow Line Faces.

The Power of Stillness

“To the mind that is still, the whole universe surrenders.”

We are often taught that creation requires force. We push, strive, control, and attempt to make life conform to our plans. When results do not come quickly, we assume we must work harder, think more, or apply greater pressure. Yet excessive effort can separate us from the very intelligence capable of guiding the process.

The Love and Truth Practice reveals another kind of power: the power of alignment. This is not laziness, passivity, or waiting for life to happen. It is the ability to become still enough to sense the movement already unfolding and to act in harmony with it. Like water finding its natural course, aligned action meets less resistance because it does not struggle against the living moment.

The mind wants to name, predict, and control what cannot always be understood in advance. The heart listens differently. When the body is relaxed, the heart is open, and the mind becomes quiet, we enter a receptive state in which creative intelligence can be felt before it can be explained. This is the fertile inner space from which insight, beauty, and meaningful action arise.

The receptive principle of life is often misunderstood as weakness. Yet all creation begins through openness. A seed does not force itself into becoming a tree. A garden does not grow through anxiety. Life develops through a relationship between intention, nourishment, patience, and the intelligence already present within it.

Through active meditation, we practice returning the body, heart, and mind to an open, relaxed, and alert state of presence. When we notice ourselves forcing an outcome, we pause. We soften the body, release the demand for certainty, and listen for the most loving and truthful action available now. Sometimes the guidance is to move. Sometimes it is to wait. Stillness allows us to recognize the difference.

Effortless action does not mean there is no effort. It means our effort is no longer divided by fear, resistance, and the need to prove ourselves. We become rooted in our truth, responsive to the moment, and willing to let creation unfold in ways the mind could not have planned.

True power is not the ability to control everything around us. It is the ability to remain aligned within ourselves. When the mind becomes still (clear), the heart becomes open, and action arises naturally from the deeper movement of life.

What belongs to us does not always need to be forced. Sometimes it must be received.
