Flow Line Figure 07.11.26

This work was created through my active meditation practice, a creative process I have developed that accompanies every stage of making the artwork. The meditation begins with the presence shared between myself and the muse, continues through the painting of the body, the photographic session, the darkroom editing process, and ultimately the flow line drawing itself.

Rather than approaching art as an act of control, I practice remaining aligned with Love and Truth throughout the entire creative journey. Within an atmosphere of trust, openness, and presence, artist and muse enter a shared field of exploration where intuition gradually replaces intention. It is here that creativity becomes less an act of personal expression and more an experience of listening. The work reveals itself.

Over time I have come to understand that when the creative process is approached in this way, the finished artwork becomes more than an image. It becomes a mandala—a contemplative portal that reflects the qualities cultivated during its creation. Every line, gesture, and field of color carries the resonance of presence, freedom, joy, beauty, and grace.

The artwork is not intended to represent these qualities. It is created from them.

For me, this is the practice of Love and Truth: trusting the quiet intelligence of the heart, allowing creative flow to become a form of meditation, and discovering that the deepest works of art are not manufactured by the mind but revealed through alignment with something greater than ourselves.
