My Flow Line drawings are exercises of awareness. A practice to develop freedom from judge mental thought, opinion and emotional entanglement by focusing on the present while in a state of action or stillness, being guided by polishing clarity.

This technique comes from the ancient tradition of Shaolin Kung Fu which merged the wisdom of the Tao with meditational influences from India merged with physical training. Shaolin monks developed this system to synchronize the body with mind, essence and environment.

The practice was refined over thousands of years. Many practitioners would move on to become various contributing members of society such as doctors and business owners.

I have adapted these techniques which were designed to flower a persons full potential, into my art creating practice.
