Blue Skies Blue Rivers
This is a flow dynamics exercise merging influences from Shaolin Kung Fu and musical improvisation to stimulate chi (life force energy). The practice which itself was created spontaneously involves two people holding hands with feet rooted. The movements are spontaneous yet flowing, interconnected by training the attention to the sensation of touch while at the same time one person improvises words and melody as the other creates a rhythmical beat to accompany. Since no aspect of the experience is premeditated, the process nurtures a dimension of grace by the practice of paying attention and responding to the dynamics of the present moment.
