• The Portasar Sculptures

“The Portasar Sculptures” reference ancient temple structures known by Armenians as Portasar or Gebekli Tepe as named by Turkey. Recognized as the oldest known megaliths in the world, dating back approximately 12,000 years. This ancient archeological site is located in the Southeastern Anatolia region of current day Turkey, the ancestral homeland of Armenian people who were indigenous to these areas and thus aptly named after the near by mountain MT. Ararat.

These augmented reality sculptures take the ancestral form of three actual monolithic structures discovered at the archeological site. Many questions arise as to the original function or purpose of these stone megaliths with many theories including inter dimensional portals and resonating star maps. In alignment with the ancestral mystical and mythological possibility, these monolithic portals have been re activated in the 21 century, in order to connect with the wisdom of our ancestors and possibly beyond.
