Pin Sculpture

I built this sculpture when I was about 12  years old. It is constructed from wood, plexiglass and chicken wire mesh which is filled with 1000’s of pins, creating a touchable sculpture with two sides. Since I never took an art class until college, this was used as a portfolio piece getting accepted into college for art & design.
