Chess Sculpture

I created this chess board sculpture when I was about 14 years old. The base is made from an old tire with chiffon and black air ducting for the leg with little translusent monsters wrapping around it that lit up with little lights inside them. The sides of the chess board were also illuminated with little plastic babies adorning each corner of the chess board. The chess pieces on top were all painted with glow paint in wild and bold colors and patterns. Finally a black rubber snake slithers across the top of the chess board. This was one of my portfolio pieces used to get accepted into Art & Design school.
