9 Muses of Nommo

The 9 muses of Nommo are born from the imagination after learning about a mysterious tribe hidden deep in the heart of Mali called the Dogon people. In their ancient record as passed down from generation to generation over countless thousands of years are stories of water-like gods they called “Nommo” who came from another planet. These amphibian-like “gods” are considered the creators of humans who came to Earth in a thunderous machine from the star system Sirius. In this region of the cosmos is a small star that can not be seen by the naked eye for which the Orion belt points. All the villages are oriented to match this star system layout and sure enough, contemporary Astronomy now confirms the existence of this star. The Dogon knew the density and gravitational dynamics and that this smaller star was about the size of Earth and also spins on its axis. These “godlike aquatic beings would teach humans by day and wander back into the oceans at night.
