This work taps aspects of my subconscious which you can refer to as the memories of my childhood. The color tones are in part from the beautiful wrapping of Christmas presents that would arrive from my aunt living in California who was a fiber artist. There is also the reference to the candy I would indulge in that was wrapped in a long silver stick. The fine engineering lines from architectural perspectives of form as structures like homes, something warm and comfortable. The wiring diagrams, electrical conduit, flows of information to represent a living infrastructure of beauty.
