CONTEXT:

365 SEEDS  (pomegranate tree)

One of the darkest periods of my people,

It was called “the Genocide”

Those that survived the killings,

were exiled into the deserts.

Making the journey by foot

could take a year to find civility.

A pomegranate can have 365 seeds.

It is said Armenians ate one seed per day

to survive the journey.
