Drum circle with 120 kids
What an
incredible night this was. Father Vasken invited
Jude and I to The Armenian Church Youth Camp
located in the beautiful Sequoias. These images
give a glimpse into a magical experience where 120
kids most who have never held a drum let alone be a
part of a drum circle joined together to create a
deep bonding experience. We had so much fun,
singing, dancing and drumming around a camp fire.
Stephan Nigohosian of Latin Percussion was
wonderful to donate some of the percussion
instruments.
When the spirit and imagination are set free, possibilities abound. Drum circles are fun, enrich our lives and bring us closer together in profound ways.
It has only been two weeks and I miss these kids already, they really touched our hearts.
